Approximately 17 members turned out for the annual meeting on May 7th. The main order of business was the election of officers for the next year. The slate of officers nominated by the nominating committee were elected by unanimous vote.
The officers for the next year are:
Monica Isbell – President
Tori Pickerel – Vice President
John Isbell – Secretary
Bill Pritchard – Treasurer
Mike Lincicum agreed to continue to maintain the Club’s web page for another year.
The outgoing Secretary, Karen Harshbarger, has compiled two notebooks with valuable information for future Club officers. One notebook contains historical material such as membership lists and meeting minutes going back many years. The other notebook includes information regarding planning and preparation for Club social events in recent years. This should be very helpful to those responsible for these events in the future. Karen also found a copy of a Club logo that was purchased in 1992. Below is a copy of the logo.
There was an extended discussion of the Club’s finances and a proposed budget for 2011. There was a consensus that the Holiday Party should again include a catered dinner and that the full cost of the food, including gratuity, should be paid by those attending the event. The Club will continue to provide the drinks, decorations, and liquor liability insurance. The Club will also continue to provide food and drinks for the annual picnic potluck.
There was also a request for volunteers to help with upcoming Club activities.
